Flourish Australia is looking for an experienced Regional Manager to oversee the development and growth of services across Northern Sydney, Western Sydney, the Nepean Blue Mountains and Far Western NSW.
The opportunity available is:
- Full-time
- Working Monday to Friday (with some on-call responsibilities)
- Attractive remuneration package of $171K inclusive of 12% superannuation & motor vehicle allowance
- Flexibility to be based at an appropriate Flourish Australia site, with regular travel required across Northern Sydney, Western Sydney, the Nepean Blue Mountains and Far Western NSW
About this Opportunity
As the Regional Manager, you will be fundamental in the provision of high quality and responsive recovery-oriented service that best supports people to achieve their hopes and dreams. Supported by the General Manager, Services, you will oversee Flourish Australia's operations in the Greater Western Sydney and Far Western NSW regions. You will join a dynamic senior management team and lead the development and maintenance of key strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the region.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and support a team of Managers to achieve service excellence.
- Drive operational performance, workforce capability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, resources and service outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop a good understanding of Flourish Australia’s philosophy, recovery orientated services/culture, Disability Standards, National Standards for Mental Health Services, Quality Assurance principles, Grievance policy, Work Health & Safety, and Privacy policy and relevant legislation.
- Lead strategic projects and contribute to organisational priorities and future service development.

Selection Criteria
- A relevant tertiary qualification in the behavioural sciences or a health-related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a relevant senior management role.
- Well developed communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills, with the capability to build and maintain positive working relationships across multiple sectors with a range of organisations.
- Demonstrated experience fostering and sustaining partnerships as well as ability to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing community-based services across multiple locations with varying program requirements
- Demonstrate understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of severe and persistent mental health issues and how providing a recovery-oriented service is of benefit to people.
- Expert knowledge of relevant legislative and funding contract requirements.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and ability to fully utilise the client information management system.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
