About the Opportunity 

The focus of this full-time role is to support the General Manager, Business Excellence in establishing, maintaining and developing systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant International and Australian Standards, as well as Funder-specific service delivery standards and reporting requirements.

This will include but is not limited to:

  • Working collaboratively and closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure systems are relevant and effective in their areas of responsibility
  • Supporting the General Manager, Business Excellence in developing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management framework and systems
  • Undertaking regular risk management reviews of the organisation and making recommendations for organisation-wide risk management systems and improvements
  • Developing a Quality Plan for the organisation which is aligned with the Strategic Plan and associated operational plans for the organisation
  • Providing high level advice, information on issues and developments to contribute to the refinement of Flourish Australia’s outcomes framework
  • Developing and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  1. Tertiary qualifications related to quality management and/or project management e.g. Prince2.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience working in a related quality, risk and compliance position.
  3. Demonstrable knowledge and experience implementing Quality Management Frameworks and understanding of the accreditation principles, practices and requirements including an understanding of the issues arising from accreditation processes for organisations within the community sector and not-for-profits.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of the principles of risk management at an organisational-level.
  5. Excellent project management skills including project planning, working to tight deadlines and managing performance and risk.
  6. Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet timeframes and job related expectations.

Desirable:

  1. A personal lived experience of a mental health issue.
  2. The ability to work effectively with representatives from both the public and private sectors.
