Flourish Australia are starting up new services with the Inclusive Employment Australia program and we are looking for Employment Consultants (Employment Coordinators) to help establish and grow these new services!
The positions available are full-time (76 hours/fortnight) working Monday to Friday. All positions are paid above industry standard and are classified at Level 4 on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018) ranging between $88,000 - $94,700p.a + Super + Tax Free Benefits!
As a provider who is currently exceeding expectations in job placements and outcomes, we are excited to be able to start delivering services on the NSW South Coast, Wollongong, New England and Brisbane areas, as well as in the areas were we’re currently delivering DES in the Sydney region, Hunter and Broken Hill.
About the Roles
Aa an Employment Coordinator with Flourish Australia, you will be expected to provide Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) Program specific support to local sites. As an Employment Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that participant intake, initial appointments and interviews are carried. It is also the Employment Coordinators role to support all referred participants according to their goals and skills regarding employment and barriers to employment needing to be addressed to support finding and maintaining suitable ongoing employment.
As an Employment Coordinator you will:
- Understand and consult the Flourish Australia IEA Operational guidelines and ensure that policies and procedures are followed.
- Engage local businesses and employers to source and create job vacancies for Flourish Australia’s participants.
- Provide support, mentoring and other assistance ensuring the sustainability of participant employment placements and to track all placements effectively to maximise Employment Outcomes.
- Work with local site teams and other community connections in assisting participants to overcome both vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Demonstrated or direct related experience in disability services, preferably in Disability Employment Services, Inclusive Employment Australia, or similar programs.
- Qualifications in training and assessment, employment services, mental health, community services or related fields as recognised by Flourish Australia or transferrable experience as decided by Flourish Australia.
- Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal organisational skills.
- Proof of high performance in job services or related customer services environment.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and ability to fully utilise the client information management system.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Please note - Successful candidates must maintain a Class C drivers license and proof of comprehensive insurance must be provided when required. You may be directed to use your private motor vehicle in the course of performing your duties when an organisational pool motor vehicle is unavailable. You will receive the Travelling Transport and Fares Allowance when using your private vehicle for work related purposes.
