Accounts Receivable Team Leader

Flourish Australia is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our finance team!

The position available is:

  • Full-time (76 hours/fortnight)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Based at our Support Hub in Sydney Olympic Park (flexible work from home arrangements available)
  • Level 4 on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018)

About the Opportunity

As the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will lead our team of accounts receivable officers and support the Senior Financial Accountant in the governance of accounts receivable activities.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support for the accounts receivable team
  • Plan activities and coordinate with the team to achieve results and meet KPIs
  • Standardise, optimise and improve transactional processes
  • Undertake accounts receivable end of month procedures, reports and reconciliations
  • Manage all collection cycles
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders as they relate to accounts receivable

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  1. A minimum 2-years experience of demonstrated leadership experience in credit control/accounts receivable
  2. Demonstrated experience in improving accounts receivable processes
  3. Attention to detail, good time management skills, sound analytical and proactive problem solving skills
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Ability to work proactively in an autonomous manner and in a team environment
  6. Experience in using financial systems and intermediate excel proficiency

Desirable:

  1. A personal lived experience of a mental health issue
  2. Qualification in Accounting
  3. Working knowledge of Technology One financial system
